The Former Commander of Andarab District Killed with His 6 Forces in Clashes in Baghlan

Kabul – Local sources in Baghlan province have reported fierce clashes in Andarab district of the province between the National Resistance Front forces and the Taliban last night.

According to sources, Asadullah Khan, a former commander of Banawi Andarab district is killed along with six of his forces in the district the previous night.

Taliban have also suffered casualties in the clashes, but the exact number of the fatalities is not yet reported, sources further added.

In recent days, clashes have seriously escalated in Panjshir, Takhar, and Baghlan provinces between the Taliban and the Resistance Front forces. In these battles, measurable losses have been inflicted on both sides.
