Taliban Shot Dead a Former Police Officer Along With Three Civilians in Takhar

Local sources say Taliban forces have shot dead a former police officer in Takhar province.

Sources told Hasht-e Subh that Taliban forces shot dead a policeman affiliated with the former regime in the Kalfagani area of Taloqan city, the capital of Takhar province, today after noon (Thursday, May 12).

According to the source, Din Mohammad has been busy with his new career after the fall of the former regime and was not affiliated with any armed group.

In the meantime, the Taliban shot dead three residents of Aimand village in Versaj district of Takhar after kidnapping them on charges of collaborating with the NRF.

Local Taliban officials have not commented on the incident.
