Tajikistan Army Preforms Military Maneuvers Along Border Lines in Sherkhan Bandar, Kunduz

No clashes between the Taliban and the Tajik border forces have been reported.

Kabul – Local sources have reported that Tajikistan Army has conducted military exercises near the border with Sherkhan Bandar and Imam Sahib in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province.

According to sources, the military exercises lasted for an hour.

No clashes between the Taliban and the Tajik border forces have been reported but heavy and light weapons are used during this exercise.

Five days ago, seven rockets were fired on Tajikistan’s soil from Khwaja Ghar district of Afghanistan’s Takhar province. One day later, ISIS-K claimed responsibility for these rocket attacks.

Recently, there have also been reports of clashes between the Taliban and Tajik border forces.
