Kabul – Taliban officials say that the three months salaries of the government employees will be paid at once.
The matter was confirmed today Saturday, November 20, by the deputy spokesman of the Taliban Inamullah Samangani as quoted by the Ministry of Finance.
“There are problems in paying pension of government employees that will be solved, and the rights of pensions will be paid soon,” he stated.
However, the Taliban haven’t cleared that under which conditions the three months salaries will be paid.
Recently, a letter was published from the address of the Taliban leader’s cabinet, which spoke of the finalization of the payroll for government employees.
Earlier, Taliban officials had said that they would pay employees one month with the previous procedure, and adjust the other months’ salaries according to their own approach.
The payment comes at a time while the Taliban have earned 26 billion and 915 million afghanis in the last 78 days, according to statistics.
“The income of the Taliban interim government increases day by day,” said Samangani.
Meanwhile, the reports of an increase in revenue come at a time while the former government was monthly collecting about 22 billion afghanis revenue during the coronavirus pandemic.
