Blast in West Kabul Leaves 3 Killed, 4 Wounded, Including 2 Taliban Members

A blast hit the Dasht-e Barchi neighborhood in the west of Kabul, leaving at least 3 civilians killed and 4 others, including 2 Taliban members injured.

Sources in Kabul said that the explosion occurred at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (August 13th) in front of the electronic ID issuance office in the 20-meter area of Dasht Barchi.

Although the Taliban have said that only 4 people, including 2 Taliban members, have been injured in the incident, some sources say that this explosion killed at least 3 civilians.

The west of Kabul, which is mainly a Hazara-dominated neighborhood, witnessed two deadly blasts last week on the eve of the Muharram ceremony, leaving dozens of civilians killed and injured.
