A Taliban Commander Seizes People’s Lands in Takhar

Kabul – Local sources in Takhar province say a Taliban commander has seized people’s lands by force.

This Taliban commander is called Basir and is known as “Faizani”, some sources that do not want to be named told Hasht-e Subh today Monday, November 29.

According to sources, the Taliban commander has usurped the personal property of the people in the Khwaja Bahauddin district of the province.

The Taliban commander beat local people in the district, imprisoned a number for unknown reasons, and then seized their lands, sources added.

Local Taliban officials in Takhar province have not commented.

It is worth mentioning that a number of residents of Takhar province had previously complained that they had been forced to prepare food for the Taliban three times a day.
