A Blast Injures Taliban’s Security Chief and Kills 2 of His Bodyguards in Faizabad
Kabul – Local sources in Faizabad, the center of Badakhshan province, have reported that an explosion took place in the city around 10:00 PM on Sunday (April 3).
According to sources, it was an embedded landmine which targeted Mawlawi Reshad, Taliban’s Security Chief for Badakhshan province. The blast injured Mawlawi Reshad and killed two of his bodyguards.
Local Taliban members have not yet provided details on the incident.
Meanwhile, an explosion took place this morning inside Sarai Shahzada, the country’s largest currency exchange center in Kabul, injuring 5 money changers.
